Yesterday the best band of the world played live here in vienna! Besides great songs like Snow, BSSM or Can’t Stop they also played some “real stuff” ;) like Sir Psycho Sexy and They’re Red Hot (If you know the RHCP just from listening Ö3 you probably never heard this songs;) )

No, Mike Watt and The Missingmen was opening the concert in vienna. Unfortunally we were late and missed them.
I know Mars Volta a bit and like their sound. (Somehow the song Tarantism always reminds me of Led Zeppelin – another favorite of mine)

Where the Mars Volta still opening for them? When RHCP came down to Toronto the Mars Volta played a 50 minute rendition of Pink Floyd’s Intersteller Overdrive (Frusciante and Flea also guest appeared). It was the most amazing thing I have ever seen in my entire life.
